Frank Brothers Guitar Company is composed of three brothers, Nick, Jon and Tim. Together with our lifelong family friend and a growing team of honorary brothers, we deliver exceptional quality and service to our customers.
We custom build electric guitars for customers here in Toronto and around the world. Our guitars are enjoyed by enthusiasts, collectors, music producers and professional musicians.
We are proud to build on a family legacy of excellence in music.
Our grandfather was a critically acclaimed violinist. He taught us the importance of quality having played a Stradivarius and Guarneri for many performance.
From child prodigy to concertmaster and first violin with the NBC Symphony Orchestra, Philip Frank was recognized as a virtuoso. His brother Bernard was a successful pianist and the two often accompanied each other.
Our father, was an award winning recording engineer. He taught us the importance of high fidelity and innovation having been at the forefront of audio engineering.
Among many accomplishments, Jim Frank has won a Gemini Award, a Golden Reel Award and a Double Platinum Record. He has worked with artists such as Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel and The Guess Who.

Tim & Nick Frank
Tim (left) and Nick are responsible for the design, quality, and performance of all Frank Brothers’ guitars from start to finish.
They have been repairing and building guitars since they were teenagers and are the creative force behind Frank Brothers.
As twin brothers, Tim and Nick are constantly motivated to exceed each others expectations.
Jon takes on various roles ensuring the company executes on its vision and mission. Central to this is building a business culture focused on customer satisfaction. He is also responsible for keeping the peace between Nick and Tim as any good older brother does.
Partner & Chair
Warren is the CEO and Founder of the UCS Forest Group of companies, a North American-based importer, exporter and distributor of specialty wood products. He is Chair of the Board of the Toronto International Jazz Festival, a former director of the Toronto International Film Festival and has held leadership roles with the Young Presidents’ Organization. As Chair of Frank Brothers, Warren guides overall strategy and assists with all aspects of the business.
Mark has spent the last twenty years as a guitar maker and inlay artist. He has become a key part of the Frank Brothers team, taking on R&D projects and CAD/CAM programming.
Simon is a key contributor to the Frank Brothers Team. When not in the shop you can find Simon gigging with his band Sports Fan.
