David came to us with a challenge to build a second guitar that would be capable of replacing his ES 330 for his solo shows. It needed to have the same acoustic precense and airiness while also not suffering from feedback caused by a hollow body. After lots more discussion over facetime, we decided on a Mahogany Ultra Light with a twist. We replaced the center block with solid Spruce rather than the traditional Mahognay or Maple center block
