This lightweight Swamp Ash Sonar comes in at only 7.4 lbs and is a perfect blend of retro vibes with it’s vintage amber colour, ‘57 V neck carve, P.A.F voiced humbuckers, aged nickel hardware, and lightly relic’d nitrocellulose gloss lacquer finish with super fine and tight natural lacquer checking.
The flame maple neck, dark Indian rosewood fretboard, and matching Indian rosewood headstock overlay really tie together the natural woody look of this Sonar. A Mastery bridge and vibrato provides endless fun with outstanding performance and tuning stability.
Topped off with our Mod controls, this extra control plate is home to a pair of coil splits that let you individually switch each pickup into single-coil mode. A third “Blower” switch bypasses the neck pickup and volume/tone controls — you can use this switch as a passive boost when you have your volume rolled down — just hit the blower switch for an immediate volume boost!
