Arcade Signature - Cocobolo & Tortoiseshell
This custom Arcade Signature is the result of a really fun collaboration with a customer who had a clear vision to create something bold, refined, and unique.
The body and neck are made from cocobolo, a dense tonewood known for its sustain and striking grain. It has a rich, natural depth that really stands out, especially when contrasted with the beautiful Nicotine White top. Multi-ply dark tortoiseshell binding and a matching pickguard tie the whole look together—complementing the deep, warm tones of the cocobolo while providing sharp contrast against the white top to make the Arcade silhouette pop.
It’s loaded with Gold Foil pickups for a clear, dynamic tone, and features a handy series/parallel switch that lets you flip between an open, jangly sound and a thicker, punchier output—all without touching your amp. The Frank Brothers Floating Tailpiece adds both resonance and bloom, while perfectly complementing the guitar’s striking aesthetic.
This build hits a sweet spot—a great example of what happens when a player’s unique vision comes to life.
