Piano Black Beauty
We wanted to remain as faithful to the original construction of the LP Custom that inspired this guitar, so a genuine mahogany top was chosen rather than a maple top which is commonly used on our guitars and on most LP’s.
Wired with three Lollar humbuckers, the middle pickup has a master volume control and is independent from the three way toggle so that you can blend the pickup in to modify the voice of the guitar.
The piano black nitrocellulose lacquer finish is one of the most iconic features of this guitar - we hand sanded up to 3000 grit, machine buffed, then hand polished the finish to achieve a beautifully deep gloss. The large block fretboard inlays, gold plated hardware, keystone tuner buttons, and black bell knobs add to the custom vibe of this Signature Model.
